We had a bit of a plumbing emergency at a rented property of ours where we were in need of an emergency plumber. I rang very late at night and got given a very quick and helpful response, identifying the issue and coming to fix it within 24 hours. Great service, very fast turn-around with reasonable rates! Incredible customer service. I rang them on a Sunday afternoon and after a talk and sending some photos he helped me resolve it over the phone. Trust means so much nowadays, I will only use act direct from now on. It's on my speed dial!

Excellent customer service. We had an emergency, Zul turned up within 30 minutes, quickly boarded up a broken window. He then returned a few days later to fit the new pane which he had ordered. A lovely polite man who we would unreservedly recommend.

locksmith He came to my new home to give an estimate of what I wanted to do. We did a majority of the work the first visit but I decided to order a custom lock with a keypad which he ordered for me and then returned to install. He's not only pleasant he's also very professional, reliable and super knowledgeable about locksmith.I would HIGHLY recommended Act Direct Ltd for anyone looking for a great Locksmith. Locksmith : Emergency call out, was here within an hour as quoted. Friendly and professional did a brilliant job and actually went a little further and fixed an issue with the door for us too! Very happy! :)

Locked myself out of my top floor flat, not only did this guy rip his hands apart to let me in but climbed up 4 floors outside with a ladder to enter a window, just so I didn't need to replace the lock. Absolute hero and Saviour

I would strongly recommend ACT Direct. Rang them on a Saturday when so called roofers (more like “Cowboys”) left my Dad’s roof open and not waterproof with rain predicted that afternoon. Zul arrived within two hours of the call to make the roof waterproof and 30 minutes before the predicted heavy rain fell. Just to say highly professional and trustworthy (unlike the so called “roofers”)

My nans house unfortunately got broken into and therefore needed the windows boarded up. I rang the chap who told me he would be a few hours, not a problem as straight away he was honest. He rang me 15 mins before attending as i requested. When he arrived which was around 9:20pm he was very chap very understanding of the situation and ensured everything that could be done about the situation was done. He was there roughly an hour, which flew by due to him being quick and efficient and i was very happy with the work completed. I believe the chaps name was zul. This was done on 3.10.18 I would reccommend anyone to use this guy if needed.

Tom came promptly out of hours when I knocked a radiator rearranging the furniture for the Christmas tree. The radiator sprung a leak and started flooding the living room. Tom fixed it, was quick, competent and considerate that baby was asleep upstairs. Would definitely recommend.

We had to call Zul out after locking ourselves out of the house after midnight. Despite the time, he arrived promptly and was very reassuring, given the situation!He quickly got us into our house and re-fitted a new lock to the front door. All in all, a very professional and reasonably priced job from a friendly local business :)Will definitely recommend and use again.

Had a leak in the pipe leading to the hot bath tap that was slowly but surely dripping through the floor and running down the wall in the kitchen. Called ACT on a Saturday morning (2 days before Christmas) - they were out in the same afternoon and fixed the problem very efficiently, Would definitely recommend.

I called Zul at 8:40pm to help me out after my boyfriend had locked us out. He was with me in half an hour and got us back in, in less than five minutes of him arriving and continued to change the lock. I am so very grateful for how responsive, quick, friendly and dedicated he was to helping out a customer. Despite other lock smiths on google advertising that they were a 24hour service, this was not the case. One company simply told me they would not be able to help out until the next day at the earliest. I cannot recommend Zul and his company highly enough. Their prices were also very reasonable considering the time, inconvenience and work completed. I am an extremely satisfied customer. Thank you so much

Could not be happier with these guys. Came on the day they said (and early too) and made good a whole host of work that was left unfinished by other trades. They even hoovered up after themselves. Very efficient and very friendly. Would not hesitate to recommend.

I had a problem with my cold water tank overflowing. I rang them gone 9pm last night and Tom arrived at my property 9am today. The issue has been fixed, within great time and a great price too! Also Tom was so polite and I will definitely be going back for future work I have planned on my property :)

Cant recommend Zul and Tom enough.An ongoing issue with a lock that had gradually become worse over time was sorted within 20 minutes, they knew exactly what the issue was, sorted everything quickly and was fairly priced.They explained everything, cleaned up before they went and even put up with our mad Puppy.Lock is now fixed, everyone in the family can now lock the door, just wish all companies were this honest.Thank you both.

Zul was so responsive, efficient, helpful and also thoughtful at a time when we felt vulnerable after the burglary. He came over at 9pm and made our house secure. He seems to have a lot of experience and was reassuring. He sourced appropriate locks and when we had a problem with one he came promptly to try to resolve and then sorted the issue out with the lock manufacturer. We would use again and have recommended him to others for door and lock problems. Thanks Zul.

Unfortunately I had a burglary at my flat in Cheltenham, but within an hour on a Saturday afternoon Zul was there and quickly boarded up my window and assisted me in clearing the glass as well. Used in an emergency after a break in, amazingly helpful, arrived very quickly, made safe and secure then came back to do a proper repair and replace the glass the next working day. Kept in touch with time of arrival and kept his promises. Wonderful service! I have since used him for other non emergency work, as when you find someone good why use anyone else. Highly recommended.

Fixed an exterior security light with an internal switch for us. This included cabling in the loft and working round the loft insulation. Very friendly, trustworthy and did the job properly. These people turn up when they promise. This is the second time I have used ACT Direct, and will use them again.

Needed somebody urgently to sort out smashed glass at my dads. Found them by Googling and they were the only company willing to put themselves out and sort out the problem in its entirety. They arrived when they said they would, took broken glass away, cleaned up after themselves and did a fantastic job. I would thoroughly recommend them and would definitely use them again. Tom likes one sugar in his tea.
